KANMEI UECHI -THIRD SOKE-
The oldest son of Kan-ei Uechi, the grandson of the Founder of the Style.
After his childhood he practice Karate with his father and actually he directs the headquarters Dojo of Uechi-Ryu.
KANEEI UECHI -SECOND SOKE-
The oldest son of Kanbun Uechi. His name itfs pronounce Kan Eei separated. He began to practice Karate when he was 17 years old with his father and in the 1937 he opened the first Dojo in Osaka and after that in Hyougo. He instructed a lot of young people that some of these they would turn into big leaders of Uechi-Ryu in the future. He came back to Okinawa after The Second World War and opened the headquarters Dojo of Uechi-Ryu in Futenma.
He modernized the style adding new exercises and Katas.
He died in 1991 in February when he was 79 years old.
KANBUN UECHI -FIRST SOKE-
In 1887 he travelled to China to learn the Chun-Fa art with Buddhist monks what he received the authorization to open a school in China being a foreigner.
After he came back to Japan, he began to teach that system in the city of Wakayama situated in central Japan. He died when he was 71 years old in Okinawa.
